Dayton Junior High student council members are elected by the student body. Student Council plans school-wide activities including dances, assemblies, May Games, and the annual canned food drive. They meet every Tuesday or Wednesday during lunch in Mrs. Crapper’s room.

P.A.S.S.
P.A.S.S. club (Pirates Are Sober Students) promotes a drug and alcohol-free lifestyle and empowers drug and alcohol-free students through monthly all-school advisory activities, Red Ribbon week, and annual P.A.S.S. day. The club is open to all interested 6th, 7th, and 8th graders and meets every Thursday at lunch in Mrs. Solem’s room.
A.R.G.
Academic enRichment Group meets Tuesday and Thursdays in Mrs. Thomas’s room from 3:00-4:00pm. Anyone is welcome to join at any time. A.R.G. is a homework support club with an emphasis on improving reading strategies.
